Wolverine Clan

Nathan Krebs, Captain of the Morning Star, belonged to the Wolverine Clan by birth, destined to emulate them: tough, fearsome and solitary. Now fate leads his ship and crew to encounter a foe so horrific to put fear even in a wolverine. With slim chance of escape to warn mankind of the onslaught, Nathan chooses to enter the jaws of the beast alone, poking it in the eye along the way. He finds himself not alone, however. Even worse than facing the terror by himself, he becomes the guardian of his first mate, and close friend's grandchildren. With more than his own destiny in his hands, the responsibility weighs heavily on him with demons afield and errant teenagers to restrain at home. Alone with little possibility of respite, the last humans in the system watch their enemy gather for the final push against them.
