Rosie is a self made photographer trying to make a new life for herself after a messy divorce. She is reluctantly drawn into a world of crime, international drug and people smuggling, and death. She finds her friends are not what they seem and has her eyes opened by corruption and bribery at extremely high levels of the police, councils and government, and it is one of her pictures that brings it all to a close after running for her life. She is re-building her life and its going well and in the right direction when all the trouble comes along, and in all this turmoil she finds love.
