Rebel soldiers invade a town, killing thousands and separating families. The wealthy section of the town is a secluded and gated community with lavish mansions and packed with important resources including a huge, well equipped hospital with doctors, nurses and other qualified staff all trapped in the complex which is protected by high walls.
As the civil war rages on, two heavily armed rebel groups surround the complex, one on each side, and a dangerous battle between the rebels begins as each group of soldiers attempts to seize and control the complex.
Consequently, the wealthy families trapped inside the complex find themselves in the dangerously precarious position of negotiating with the impatient rebels, secretly attempting to appease each side behind the back of the other party without getting themselves shot and killed in the process.
Narrow Crook is a narration of the above story from the perspective of a young girl child who is trapped inside the complex with her family.
