Jesus gave individuals rules to live by, the Natural Laws of Human Behavior. Because governments are just made up of individuals, how do the teachings of Jesus apply to governing? These rules can be applied to any stage of government, whether tribal council or large, modern democracy. The top priority of government leaders is to stay in power. The top priority of individuals is to have a good life and they will support government leaders who provide that. The rules from Jesus benefit each individual without hurting others.
