How does the contemporary church compare to the Church Jesus said He would build 2000 years ago? Is the Church a building or a people? This book will take the reader on a journey back through the ages. We will examine the Church in its embryonic state, and trace its evolution to its present condition. In the pages of this book we will contrast the tradition of GOING to church with the reality of BEING the Church, and the dynamic potential that comes with that distinction.
