Ogata Korin (1658-1716) was a Japanese painter, lacquerer and designer of the Rinpa school, one of the major historical schools of Japanese painting. It was created in 17th century Kyoto by Hon'ami Koetsu and Tawaraya Sotatsu. Roughly fifty years later, the style was consolidated by brothers Ogata Korin and Ogata Kenzan. Its high quality soft cover with firm binding gives it a long life and will withstand the various manipulations of everyday life. 1st section of 53 undated pages followed by 50 dot grid pages 7.44" x 9.69" (18.9 x 24.61 cm) Dot grid paper is very flexible and can be used for design, creating your own bullet style journals, drawing, pen and paper games and many more purposes. Many people like the simplicity of connecting the dots to make boxes, tables and so on. Some people prefer to write on dot grid paper.
