The Magic Portal

Robert, a young boy playing in the Forest Preserve near his home, wanders into another realm, beyond earth, a dark forest with men dressed in armor, helmets and swords riding strange reptilian creatures. Jayce, from an ancient world leads Robert into the safety of the Magic Portal. Robert is the boy from earth destined to bring help to the village. The portal is guarded by a spell from the Ancient Book of Protection that has kept enemies out for centuries. If evil Prince Khalid can find the Ancient Book hidden among the cave dwellers of the Sacred Mountains, he can reverse the protective spell, conquer the village, take King Jeremy's throne and rule all. Robert returns with his family to this ancient world of the past to help them defend their land and remain free. They journey across mountains, get caught in a rock slide, escape through enemy lines and cross a raging river to retrieve the Ancient Book of Protection. A tiny bird appears as a rainbow of light and Robert can hear her thoughts as she leads him to safety. Fog Lake, protected by magic spells, does not allow anyone with evil intentions to cross to the village. They stay lost on the lake until they change their thinking and only then can they find their way back. Can Robert and his family defend the portal against Khalid's powerful magic as he raises his scepter that blasts fire from the grey crystal to destroy the portal?
