Conservationist, Kay Anderson left Durban a broken woman. Betrayed by her fiancé, she trains to become the first female ranger to join a safari lodge. On her arrival at the lodge, manager Edward Blake is horrified to discover that his new ranger is a woman and makes his disapproval clear. After months of hard work, Kay proves she is as good as and often better than the other rangers. Kay and Ed's lives are put in danger when they suspect a traitor is working in their midst and they struggle to expose the culprit.
