The Worth of a Woman

In a society where men dominate and rule, 15-year old Jade comes up for auction to the highest bidder. Archer thinks he's buying a compliant female who will do his bidding without complaint, but Jade is true to her own self, to her own ideas- normally a fatal flaw in females that leads to their rapid termination. Expecting the worst every day, Jade is placed in a precarious position, even after proving her loyalty to her master, but she cannot be meek and submissive like females are expected to be. Gradually, Archer begins to realize the worth of a woman, especially one woman in particular, but a dangerous adversary threatens to destroy everything that he is trying to achieve when he perceives Archer's actions, and Jade's continued existence, as dangerous liabilities to society and male dominance.
