Following "Robot Dreams", Kriev publishes his second art book "Creepy-But-Cute". This new collection of paintings focuses on the artist's Gothic and macabre work. The imagery is often melancholic and sometimes disturbing, but always compelling. The depiction of children with a wistful stitched-lip smile and vacuous eyes may be unsettling to the casual beholder. But behind this Gothic façade, compassion and tenderness are often present.
