As Leona and her family learn to deal with life on Zygote, they are presented with new challenges. It becomes hard enough trying to protect the children while they grow at a faster rate. The task of satisfying multiple husbands has its own drawbacks. But Leona still struggles to maintain sanity in this new world of paranormal. With visions and other peoples thoughts continuing to rake havoc in life, she tries desperately to look after her family. Her own past surfaces. She has to help Orion fight his alcoholism. She has to trust in her children and allow them to help secure their safety. They not only meet new friends, but they also have to form new allies once the threat of invasion is presented.
