Silent Voices

The walls have ears, only they cannot speak. They bear silent witness to life, love, and murders. Those who choose to speak have learned to craft their thoughts meticulously to reflect the mind and the eyes of the walls. This book is a collection of thoughts, feelings, and emotions that reflect the mind of the walls. It seeks to give meaning to words that evoke the conscience of the minds of its readers. The walls could see things that have taken place behind closed doors, and the air could testify for the lives that have vanished. Death is only meaningful when it takes life. Death creates pain in the minds of loved ones and leaves its victims lifeless. It does not account for the pain and anguish it leaves behind, even though questions are asked. Death does not know pain, because it does not feel the pain that life experienced. The air that we breathe does not exist in isolation, it is present because it witnesses life vanish into the unknown. Silent Voices recounts the moments of joy, peace, anguish, death, and rejection in all subjects physically and spiritually as it affects the world and all of existence. The conscience of the society has been tested in a time of war, the struggles for power and acquisition of wealth, victimization and man in humanity with fellow man. Silent voices do not speak louder, they symbolize meaning beyond words.
