Requiem for Bugsy

Things are looking up for Matt Cole. His private detective agency is prospering and his personal life has settled down to the extent that his only real worries are his bourbon intake and a lack of intimate female companionship. But then a specter from Matt's past walks into his office and draws him back into the underworld of the Los Angeles mob. Tasked to locate a missing young woman, and a stolen bracelet, he risks life and limb at every turn, while wending his way through a labyrinth of rival gang factions and their equally dangerous female companions. Through no fault of his own, Matt soon finds himself running for his life after being targeted for assassination by Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel, the most notorious mob boss in Los Angeles.
