The Trial

A geology professor takes his top students to explore a depleted oil reservoir with the goal of retrieving rock samples. What they find instead leads the researchers to a shocking revelation about their own minds and bodies, and about life on Earth and elsewhere. The team develops a submarine to enter the oil mine and finds, buried in stone that is millions of years old, evidence of an advanced civilization with technology far beyond today's science. Their discovery of strange manmade crystals leads them onto a path of discovery into humanity's lost history and the true nature of mankind.
