Framed in a semi-fictional setting, the heart of "The 30th Day" is a true account of one woman's journey to self discovery, freedom, and enlightenment. It illustrates how generational struggles and family connections mold the clay of our being, and how forgiveness can free and inspire us to reach beyond. Born into an orthodox Jewish family in Brooklyn, New York at the start of World War II, Rebeccah recounts her struggle to break free from a restrictive, controlling, angry world. She charms the reader as she takes them through personal struggles and deep loss to a point of healing, forgiveness, and growth. Rebeccah's interviewer, Anise, finds inspiration and strength from the story, ultimately reconciling her own family history with her life and choices of today.
