Moving From Strength

Life doesn't stop when you have a child with special needs. You would think that when something like this occurs, the world would accommodate you by slowing everything else down to give you time to acclimate, get your feet under you, and give things a whirl. You will be OK. When it was happening to me, I needed someone to tell me that. I am so glad that you decided to pick up this book. I hope it gives you comfort and direction to a place where you feel OK. It is the book I wish that someone had handed me upon that first diagnosis for my child. No one handed it to me. I couldn't find it. So I wrote it.
