The Committed Self: an Introduction to Existentialism for Christians

The Committed Self is a clear and compelling introduction to Existentialism, the root of Postmodernism and, according to Victor A. Shepherd, still the most significant philosophy of our times. ABOUT THE AUTHOR
The Rev. Dr. Victor A. Shepherd, an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church in Canada, teaches philosophy and theology at Tyndale University College & Seminary, Toronto. In addition he is adjunct professor theology at Trinity College, University of Toronto, and Professor Ordinarius, University of Oxford. He is the author of many other books, including Interpeting Martin Luther: An Introduction to His Life and Thought and Mercy Immense and Free: Essays on Wesley and Wesleyan Theology.
