Genesis 1, 2 and 3

The first chapter of Genesis is a chapter of immense and abiding interest to Christian believers. The author gives a simple straightforward explanation without any frills (or thrills!). Questions of science he has left to one side. Here we have God's version of how the world came into being, a marvellous divine creation. The first verse of Genesis is without question the most remarkable combination of seven words that has ever been written.
