Shadow
Randy feels that he has succeeded in breaking Brandy and Emily, and that they are now reconciled to their lives of slavery. But he decides he needs to test whether they can be trusted to not take any opportunity to scream for help. To do that, he enlists the help of Scott and Judy. Mostly Judy. The plan is for her to act like a slave in front of them in order to gain their confidence. She half succeeds. Even though he knows better, Jethro goes along with the ploy. Moire than simply going along, he enthusiastically participates in the deception. Judy isn't quite so thrilled with his participation.
There is a massive snowstorm centered over Washington DC. It plays havoc with air travel all over the eastern half of the country, particularly for Bill who is trying to return home from a business trip to the west coast. The travel disruptions result in him meeting an attractive woman who he takes a liking to. One thing leads to another and she eventually grows to liking him too. They seem to be on a path to something good together. Fate has other destinations in mind for the pair.
