Lily's Letters

As women age, husbands and lovers seem to either die or move on and their women friends become more and more important in their lives. Claire Patton, in her mid-60's, is faced with the death of her best friend, Lily. With Lily gone, she was sure her life adventures were over. But even in death, Lily is a presence and her bizarre sense of humor continues to challenge and engage, leaving laughter, love and occasional discomfort in its wake. At Lily's request, Claire delivers her ashes to her first husband, Sam, a man Claire has never met, setting off a chain of events and discoveries that promise to drastically change the future for Claire and everyone Lily loved.
