Vampires and Vampirism

"Vampires and Vampirism" is one of the more interesting works on the subject penned less than two decades after the release of Bram Stoker's "Dracula." More than a treatment of Romanian and similar lore, it speaks of some Asian demons and spirits as well as lore from Russia and other locales. Covering some then-contemporary poetry and literature on the subject as well as treating on ancient cultures and their own inclusion of blood drinking or disembodied ghouls, Wright's work is of great value to the cryptozoologist, occultist, and history buff alike.
