Dorian Tullus should lead a life of glory and pleasure in the Roman empire. His beauty is the stuff of legends, and his family is influential and wealthy. But Dorian's desire to submit to another's will puts him at odds with the decorum expected of a Roman citizen. He knows he's an embarrassment and needs to change. But how? Lord Aksel, The Beast of Silberturm, plots vengeance against Dorian's father. His plan to abduct Tullus goes awry, and The Beast unwittingly captures Dorian.
