Attorney Maggie Anderson moved back home to take over Dakota Ranch, after her parents were killed in a horrible accident. Being the only child, she had no choice but to leave her high paying job in Sioux City, South Dakota and return to the ranch in Pierre. She also left her boyfriend, Eric Sage. Ranch Foreman, Hank Snow, was everything Maggie could ever wish for to help her run the ranch. Her closest neighbor, Jude Lawson, retained her legal services when his wife left him and their six-year old daughter Maria, who became very attached to Maggie. How will this story end for Maggie?
