Contributor Bio:  Webb, Jack Jack Webb (1920 1982) first achieved success in the entertainment industry playing the title character in the radio show "Pat Novak, Private Eye". His greatest success, however, came from the beloved show "Dragnet", which ran for many years on both radio and television.
