Love Conquered

Webster's defines the term 'love' as "a strong affection for another arising out of kinship or personal ties or from sexual desire and attraction". As well, throughout history, love has come to mean many different things to many different people, but in the end, this strongest of emotions seems to find a way to win out over all adversity. What follows within is a series of short stories concerning love between two men set in different locales, times and situations in which love blossoms and grows in unexpected and surprising ways. That being said, the fourteen stories contained in this anthology all show that, regardless of the time or the place, it is love that is the ultimate victory that can overcome any obstacle, no matter how hopeless the situation seems. These stories move between different time frames and eras from the present day to the Old South to gladiatorial times to the future, but all of them have the ultimate theme of love winning out in the end. As you read these stories of love and hope between men, it is my hope you'll come away with a better understanding of how love truly can conquer any problem, big or small.
