Dragons, Magic, and Me Volume 1 the Box

Publisher Marketing: My sister and I were apprentices to Mage Locklard, along with Drago and Carla, twin Gold dragons. We four craved to know more magical spells and wanted to learn far faster than he'd teach us. Then, our village's leader's son was kidnaped. We lent our aid and found him and rescued him. In the process, we discovered The Box, which on the outside looked like another small home in our village, but it had only recently appeared. When we entered, a programmed illusion promised us that we'd learn magic spells at a very fast rate, but before each new batch of spells appeared, we would need to step outside the home and "handle" the situation there. Little did we know what we had just agreed to do! The Box took us to other worlds, some similar to ours, but some had very alien things, like silver, flying metal birds, which locals called space ships. Worse, we found Black and Red dragons were on these worlds, spreading their own brand of evil actions toward humans. In fact, we stumbled into a huge Black and Red dragon plot to take over many worlds and to dominate all other dragons on all other worlds. Dangerous, exciting, rewarding, and even romantic describes us and the situations the Box forced us to handle. True, initially, we were very outclassed-beginning mages tackling ultra-powerful and deadly dragons. Yet, we were resourceful, curious, and driven-driven by our drive to learn more and more magical spells. The real question becomes will we succeed or will the Black and Red dragons win the day? And what price will we have to pay for our magical knowledge?
