When an unidentified robot swoops in to save the crew of a scientific ship sinking in arctic waters, the world's press are quick to speculate on the mysterious machine's intentions. Almost overnight, the news is flooded with report after report of an enigmatic figure, which appears to be averting one disaster after another. In a flurry of locations scattered all over the globe, the robot confronts all manner of environmental catastrophes. As more and more people are saved from certain doom, the machine's profile is elevated to that of a hero; a modern day saviour. But the origins and modus operandi of the mechanical philanthrope remain shrouded in secrecy...
