Pushing Up Daisy
Joyce Oroz
Josephine and her two employees try their hand at painting props at the Park Theater in Ben Lomond, California. Their services are urgently needed because Mac, senior prop painter, turned up dead in the theater's blistering attic. Why was the door bolted from the outside? Josephine is not only intrigued with painting props and looking into the murder, but also becomes involved with Mac's family. His widow, Daisy, her mysterious adopted son and a niece and nephew all need Josephine's help. After another near-death incident in the theater's attic, we wonder if Josephine's detecting instincts can keep the people of Ben Lomond safe.
