Audubon Park is a popular uptown park here in New Orleans. It was largely designed by the renowned landscape architect John Olmsted after the 1894 World's Fair. He was known for incorporating green space, roads, civic buildings and more. I hope I have captured some of the beauty of the park here and the huge range of activities that take place. Previously, the park was a plantation on the Mississippi with rows of Live Oak trees that still stand today. The trees are the backdrop to everything that happens here. It is a place to relax, unwind and/or exercise. It is truly an oasis in the city!
