With the death of her father, Katie was a young woman who finds herself alone in the world. Her new foreman will be helping her with her dream, she hopes. Trace comes to the ranch as an unknown applicant for the position of foreman. She finds him suitable and places her dreams in his helping hands.
She wants the ranch to be self sustaining and knows she has many changes to make and not quite sure she'll be able to make them without help. She felt her friends and her hired help were all the people she needs to see this through, or so she thought.
Trace is looking to help a new or comparatively new ranch owner build on what they already have. Who he ends up helping will possibly change his life along with hers. Since the new foreman also is part owner in his own ranch, he is looking to help someone lese build their dream.
