Thomas Lansen
Thomas Lansen, MD, FAANS, FACS, is a neurosurgeon who practiced in Westchester County, New York and New York City for over thirty years, specializing in cerebrovascular surgery. He has served as president of the Westchester County Medical Society and a member of Yale University's department of Neurosurgery. He is currently Clinical Professor of Neurosurgery at New York Medical College, and has served as Director of Operations for the Neurosciences at the Westchester Medical Center. He has authored many scientific publications, as well as a history of New York medicine. He is a fellow of the American Association of Neurosurgeons and the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Lansen has been consis-itently named one of New York's best doctors and has been a neurosurgical commentator on PBS and Fox television networks. He has been a medical advisor to three members of the United States Congress.
