A Life Well Lived

This is my father, Clyde Kenneth Eppert, aka Epp, and the author of this autobiography. When my father was in his early 80's he told me he was going to write his autobiography. Now first of all my father was a very proud and hardworking man but he was not an author. He was a purple heart recipient in the Korean War, a very proud Marine, and a lifelong Tool and Die maker. Upon completion of his manuscripts came up with an idea of getting this 'made into a book with pictures from his life. Now so you know the truth I really just wanted to out do my three brothers on my Fathers birthday by presenting the book to him on his 85th birthday celebration. We celebrated our Father yearly with a blow out party with lots of friends and family, where he was the happiest among all his loved ones. Ounce it was completed we had 100 copies printed and of course it went over very well at the birthday party. The more people that read the book I made for him the more I knew I wanted as many people as possible to read about an ordinary man who had an extraordinary life, as well as honoring his life. After we lost our father the summer before his 89th birthday in the pandemic ridden year of 2020, I decidedto get his manuscript published and put in the Library of Congress as an historical document due to the large amount of his time in the Marines and his experiences in the Korean War.
