The Godly Man's Picture

Often wee tend to think we know what it means to be a godly man or woman. However, to our shame, we see in our sinful lives and practices that we ought to learn more what true godliness is. It is not our opinion that really matters here, but the Word of God. The Puritan author and teacher Thomas Watson (1620-1686) paints the Scriptural picture of a godly man, thus producing a compelling case for someone who may truly hear at the end of this life: "well done...."
