The White Company
The White Company by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is a historical fiction adventure novel that takes place from 1366 to 1367 during the Hundred Years war. The backdrop is that of the campaign of Edward, the Black Prince to return the Throne to its rightful heir Peter of Castile, climaxing at the Battle of Nájera. Boyle considers this book among his best work, better than the Holmes series, for which he is famous.
