The Poison Belt
The Poison Belt is the second story, a Novella, by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, to follow Professor Challenger, first introduced in The Lost World. Published in 1913, mostly takes place in Sussex, contradictory to The Lost World, which takes place much in South America. The Poison Belt follows Challenger in a new adventure as he believes Earth is about to pass through a poisonous belt of gas in space.
