Life's Lesson from a Kitchen Garden

There is something more than therapeutic about gardening when we can bring ourselves to get that close to the soil, especially when we learn to become fascinated with the manifestations of nature. However, the human mind itself is powerful and astute enough to transform any phenomena or situation into a learning tool, since our primary focus in life is to learn how to learn. If only we can learn how to engage our minds with the ordinary, we may be able to discover the extraordinary. Too often we bypass the keys in the ordinary in our rushed ambition to open the door to the extraordinary.
