The Child at the End of Time

The end of the world began without warning, without ceremony. Earth finds itself under global assault from an enemy it can't define or understand. Their motivations are a mystery. Their intent is unknown. No demands have been made. In the wake of devastating attacks, two survivors attempt to flee from an army as it sweeps the planet. While they struggle to stay alive and make sense of what has happened, all they are offered is a single statement of obscure purpose from those that would bring about their end.
