The Killing at Kittiwake Creek

Sheriff Al Thompkins hates the cold, but his long-time friend and former police partner-turned-CSI, Jason, convinces him to share a rental cabin high in the hills near snow-covered Stone Mountain, Georgia, for a month-long winter vacation. What begins as a "return-to-nature" experience soon turns into a hunt for a human predator, one more ruthless than any wild animal in the woods. Both men must join forces to track down the killer who's terrorizing the quiet neighboring town of Ashenford, Georgia, striking without warning. As they unravel the motives behind the killings they soon find themselves at the mercy of a murderer who seems intent on adding both of them to the growing list of victims.
