Thinking Through Ephesians

This book is designed to walk the reader through the book of Ephesians. To give the reader a glimpse of what joys lay before them in knowing Christ. I have endeavored to engage God's truth in passionate, disciplined effort. I have tried to make this simple to read, but I do not want to sacrifice the trudge and rigor of deep theological engagement. For it is in the trudging that we learn who Christ is. It is in the climb that we learn the mountain and thereby fully appreciate the beauty. What follows in these pages is a simple hike through Ephesians. It is meant to be a journey enjoyed. While some of it may be difficult to hold on to, it is my hope that you will walk with me through it. It is my deep desire that you would see and savor Jesus Christ in the chapters of this book. I've designed this in the simplest manner I know how. Simply read the Scripture passage listed at the beginning of each chapter, and then read the chapter. Think about what you read and apply it. J. Novis Elkins holds a Masters in Divinity from Southwestern Theological Seminary. He has been teaching the Bible for 21 years and has served in pastoral ministry for 13 years. He currently serves as the teaching pastor and lead planter for Sovereign Grace Fellowship in Brazoria, Texas. J. Novis' cheif desire is that people would know Christ and be transformed by His Word.
