'Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to do this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.' 1Peter 3:9. Reading these words of Peter seem so simple, putting them into practice is easier said than done. This book, is an amazing example of trust in and obedience to God irrespective of how we are treated. It is one person's story as he journeyed through the pain and suffering of being wrongfully accused. The story is shocking, dark and distressing but throughout each page the calm forceful presence of God is tangible and awesome. We are living in a time when the media is full of sexual abuse by people in prominent positions. We hear the distress of women who have been abused and have silently endured until now. This is the other side of the story; a woman using the distress of women who have been made victims, to falsely accuse a man, father, brother and husband of sexually abusing her. The question it raises is, 'What happens when the woman chooses to lie?' This man becomes the victim and must face a society which believes a woman would never lie about something so painful and distressing.
