The Call

It was just a letter but it was so much more. Called to serve her country in a state she has never been to, Adanna leaves home with a determination to succeed and assist her family no matter what. However she was not prepared for the brutal drills nor the handsome captain that has taken a special interest in her. Unknown to Adanna, Captain Jude is the same man her dad owes money to and Adanna is forced to work as a maid in the house of the man she has vowed not to fall in love with. Within one year, Adanna experiences the hard life of a young Nigerian graduate while she shoulders the burden of her family and the brooding romance with the captain.
