What is it about ghosts... that makes people sit up and devour every word they hear about them? Why do feelings of fear and the dark of night always send shivers of anticipation to those who come close to the paranormal? Kassey Berk, a reporter for the Midwest Journal Newspaper is a believer. Her new assignment takes her to the heart of her hometown where paranormal activity is epidemic. After all, it is the time of All Hallows Eve. In the Union Cemetery a lonesome howl is heard at night. Townspeople refer to it as the sound of a dog desperately crying for its departed loved ones. Is the dog real? Or a ghostly apparition? Kirk Tomlinson joins Kassey to undo the forces of evil that wrap a black veil around the unsuspecting.
