Us Against the World

The Dean children have had a hell of a couple years. They had to move in with their grandfather after their parents were murdered and just as they are starting to feel normal again...their grandfather goes missing. Caledon, Laila, and Nicholas, along with their best friend Nina Archer, embark on a rescue mission to save their grandfather and defeat the evil scientist that killed their parents. Battling giants, dragons and monsters from their history books, this group of a 17-year-old chef, a 16-year-old half witch-half fairy, a 14-year-old volleyball player and an 8-year-old book nerd will have to work together to stay alive and keep from emotionally breaking down.
