Actor Nick Kenton, one of Hollywood's heartthrobs, soon learns that fame comes with a price. With a successful series, several movies, and guest appearances behind him, Nick is ready to settle down. Unfortunately, the few women that he dates are looking more for money, lavish gifts, and an expensive house, but once he takes them home to his run down farmhouse, they can't get out the door fast enough. Then Nick comes up with an idea. The woman who loves the century old house as much as he does, is the woman who will love him for Nick Kenton the man, not the actor. Allie Krueger and Janey Kenton are college roommates whose friendship remains intact years after graduation. Shortly after meeting Janey's older brother, Nick, Allie confesses that she used to have a crush on him. Nick thinks she's cute, but she's also too young for him. Over the years, fate brings them together, but the timing is never right. Several years after first their meeting, Nick and Allie realize they have a lot in common - with a little push from Janey. Nick decides to step out in faith and invites Janey to see his farmhouse. Will she run like all of the others?
