ABOUT THE BOOKThis is a historical fiction on how the kingdom of Dimkolo disappeared in history. When the town was to be established, the ancient rulers brought in a deity which they worshipped and helped them fight wars and win battles. However over time, the new kings forget about this principality and neglected to give it its food. So the deity began to manifest as three men with horse whips with which they made life unbearable for the incumbent king whom they beat mercilessly every night. The old king endured it until one morning when he woke up to find that the evil god had killed his first son who was the heir apparent. His advisers asked him not to announce his loss but to pledge half his kingdom to anyone who can kill Gabadu the demon tormenting the kingdom. All the warriors rush out in search of Gabadu but Uche Buaku applies great wisdom that enables him trace and kill the snake symbolizing the god Gabadu. The kingdom as promised is divided into two and one half given to Uche. In a surprising twist however, Uche marries the daughter of the old king and the old man abdicates his throne. So King Uche becomes king of the two kingdom!It is fast and readable.
