The Realists

In the near future, women lose faith in the fidelity of men, and monogamy becomes obsolete. Societies then progress with detached free sex. This extreme realism and convenience is sought in all aspects of life, resulting in a streamlined balance. But romantic resisters and misogynist world leaders threaten the pragmatic accord with their own realism. The romantics want no part of the empty detachment, while the tyrannical men of the ruling elite orchestrate a cataclysmic plan to resurrect global male dominance. A young scientist emerges, promising to conform the radical romantics with a drug that controls the human urge to bond. But the misogynist leaders' plot goes undetected, and they disrupt the pragmatic world with widespread upheaval. Caught in the cross hairs of chauvinists and pragmatism, the fate of humanity rests in the hearts of young lovers who wage a romantic rebellion.
