With the mysterious disappearance or death of Major Devon Richardson from Banyan Sands Lodge, the stage is set for a group of ex-patriots from England living at the lodge to uncover the Major's fate. Instead of solving the mystery, protagonists muddy the waters with more questions. Certain lodge guests embark on a game of 'who did it', conveniently striking their names from the roster of possible suspects. Covertly listening to one another's activities and conversations, lodge inmates suspect each other of crimes related to the Major's fate. Although initially set in 1920's Bombay, India, the story weaves from the past to the present bridging the sands of time to a vacation property, erected on the grounds of the former Banyan Sands Lodge at Mongoose Grove. Dvipa Sukhadhara Resort and Spa boasts a beautiful seaside vista and elegantly appointed amenities. The general manager and part owner of the resort, Adesh Sangem, has something in common with the ex-pats from the 1920's who used to occupy the land when it was a lodge. The past is about to turn the present up side down...
