The Big Enormous Bauble Party

On the Darkest Night of the Year the people of Alpen always have a Big Bauble Party. They decorate the big maple in the centre of town with shiny yellow, red and blue baubles and they sing and dance merrily around it.

But when new people arrive from far-off lands, little by little this tradition changes, until the big maple stands in the centre of town all bare.
