Lionel, a perfectionist, wanted to have a special bond with his new baby, so he caught her at birth. Only to find out that she has a defect in her legs and calls her a gimp. Things change drastically threating to sue hospital for her disfigurement as he firmly believes his genes could only product a perfect baby. Tells his parents the baby died. Kidnaps his wife Diana without the baby. When she is rescued Dr. Sawyer hides her at his sister's home. Lionel continues to try to get Diana back without the baby in family conflict. Police chases ending in accidents caused Lionel to have serious multiple injuries in his legs but that does not change his views of his imperfect baby daughter, Lucinda. How can Diana avoid being captured by her husband and work at a job to save money to correct her baby's deformed legs?
