Ndeer

Ndeer is a story that highlights, in an African socio-economic and cultural context, the impact of sexist stereotypes on the individual and collective self, and the revolutionary awareness that facilitates the empowerment of women. The work tells the story of a young woman who unwillingly stops her university studies because of a forced marriage. Bearing the cost of several traumatic experiences including the abandonment of the marital home by her husband, she fights hard to give meaning to her life. Beyond gender based violence and the empowerment of African women, the author develops several hot topics: the crisis of values, the illegal emigration of young people, neo-colonialism, among others. This book is a sincere call for genuine appropriation of the complementary roles and responsibilities that black men and women must play in the construction of an emerging African continent.
